Privacy Policy

Last update: September 16, 2025

The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain in a clear and transparent manner how the Parking Privé des Prodains website collects, uses, and protects your personal data in connection with its parking space reservation service. It complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data controller

The data controller is Mr. Frédéric Buet. You can contact him at the following address:
info@parking-prodains.com.

Data collected and purposes

As part of your reservation, we collect the information necessary to manage the service: your last name, first name, postal address, email address, phone number, and license plate number. This data allows us to process your reservations, send you a confirmation, follow up on your request, and, where applicable, meet our legal obligations regarding billing.

Your payments are secure and processed by our partner SumUp. We do not collect or store your bank details.
We also use Google Analytics to better understand site traffic and usage, with the aim of continuously improving our services.

Legal basis for processing

The processing of your data is based on several legal grounds: the performance of the contract between us when you make a reservation, compliance with our legal obligations in terms of accounting, and our legitimate interest in analyzing the use of the website in order to improve its quality.

Recipients and data retention

Only duly authorized persons have access to your data, as well as our technical partners who are essential to the service: SumUp for payment processing, Google Analytics for statistical analysis, and our host for website operation.
Your billing data is retained for the applicable legal period, which is ten years. Other data, such as your contact details, is retained for three years after your last reservation or your last contact with us.

Security and transfers

We implement appropriate security measures, such as encrypting exchanges via SSL certificates and restricting access to authorized persons only. Data is only transmitted to service providers that are strictly necessary for the performance of the service. In certain cases, particularly via Google Analytics or SumUp, data may be transferred outside the European Union. These are governed by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

In accordance with regulations, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting us at the following address: info@parking-prodains.com. If you believe that your rights have not been respected, you can also file a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
